1. Pulper & Pulp Preparation
Waste paper and water are turned into a homogeneous paper pulp in the pulper; consistency and density are checked continuously.
Erem Makina manufactures automatic egg tray machines and turnkey egg tray production lines that form egg trays from recycled paper pulp. With capacity options between 1,500 and 5,750 trays per hour, a natural gas or diesel fired drying oven and PLC-controlled automation, your line runs stably from day one.

An automatic egg tray machine works by turning waste paper and water into pulp, moulding that pulp under vacuum, drying it and stacking the finished trays. The process is grouped into four main units, all managed from a single control panel. Every unit on the line is sized for 24/7 uninterrupted operation.
Production starts at the pulper. Baled waste paper and newsprint trimmings are mixed with water into a homogeneous paper pulp; consistency and density are monitored continuously because they directly determine the final weight of the tray. The prepared pulp is fed to the vacuum moulds rotating on the screen drum, and this is where the tray takes its shape.
The wet trays are carried into the drying oven by transfer belt. A tunnel-type drying oven fired with natural gas or diesel brings the moisture down in a controlled way; the temperature profile is set according to product type and weight. For lidded and deep products, the hot press unit corrects the form after drying and improves dimensional accuracy.
Dried trays reach the automatic stacker, which counts and stacks them; the stacks are then strapped or placed into printed cartons at the packing unit. From the pulper to the palletised product, operator intervention is kept to a minimum.

Vacuum moulds on the screen drum shape the pulp into trays; the wet trays are passed to the transfer belt.
The gas or diesel fired tunnel oven removes moisture from the wet tray with a controlled temperature profile.

One contract, one point of contact and one responsibility, from feasibility to the first production run.
A turnkey egg tray production line is far more than a single machine: if the capacity calculation, the layout, the electrical and water infrastructure, the choice of drying fuel and operator training are not planned together, the return on investment is delayed. That is why we run the project from start to finish ourselves.
Once we have your building dimensions and target capacity, we draw the layout, calculate the energy and raw-material consumption of the line and define the mould sets for the products you plan to make. Manufacturing takes place in our own workshop; after mechanical and electrical assembly the line is test-run before shipment.
Installation, calibration and commissioning on site are carried out by our own teams. Operators and maintenance staff are trained under real production conditions, and the line is handed over once it reaches the agreed hourly capacity. Our turnkey egg tray production lines are in operation in Turkey and in export markets, Iraq above all.
Layout planning for the target capacity, energy and raw-material consumption figures, and a clear investment budget.
The line is built in our own workshop, mechanically and electrically assembled, and test-run before shipment.
On-site assembly, calibration, trial production and verification of the target capacity with an acceptance test.
Operator and maintenance training, spare-part supply, remote and on-site technical support.
Our lines are engineered for 1,500 – 5,750 trays per hour; the two core models are shown below.
Our egg tray production lines are engineered for 1,500 to 5,750 trays per hour depending on requirements. Of the two core models in our catalogue, the EREM SR-30 produces 3,000 trays per hour and the EREM SR-55 produces 5,500; capacities between and above these two are engineered through the drum, the number of moulds and the length of the drying oven. On both models the mould set can be changed to make egg trays, cup trays, lidded egg trays and industrial trays; a mould change is short enough to be completed within a single shift.

Figures not listed in the table — floor area, installed power and steam demand — are calculated per project, based on the product type you choose, the drying fuel and your factory layout. On request we share the detailed technical file and reference line videos filmed on site.
An egg tray machine manufacturer producing in its own workshop in İkitelli OSB, Istanbul.
Erem Makina manufactures in its own workshop in the İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone (Başakşehir / Istanbul). The company was founded in 2007; since then we have concentrated our founders' machine-building experience — more than 30 years of it, built up before the company itself existed — on egg tray lines. From moulds and drums to conveyors and control cabinets, we machine the critical parts ourselves.
The most tangible benefit of building the machines ourselves is spare parts. When a part fails on your line you do not have to wait for an import: we pull its drawing from our archive and remake it on our own CNC machines. That turns downtime measured in days into downtime measured in hours.
Lines we commissioned in Istanbul, Erzincan and Afyonkarahisar in Turkey, and in Iraq abroad, are in production today. On export shipments, packing, customs documentation and site assembly are our responsibility.
Scalable production solutions starting with custom projects, 3D design and calculations.
By manufacturing and assembling machines in our own workshop, we keep quality and deadlines fully under control.
We stand by you with after-sales warranty, spare part supply and on-site technical support.
Production lines we have commissioned across Türkiye and abroad, notably in Iraq.
By changing the mould set, the same egg tray manufacturing machine can produce egg trays, cup trays, lidded egg trays and industrial trays. Dedicated mould sets are prepared for shoe trays, kidney dishes and automotive part trays.
Our egg tray production lines are engineered for 1,500 to 5,750 trays per hour; of the two core models, the EREM SR-30 makes 3,000 trays per hour and the EREM SR-55 makes 5,500. For capacities in between, the line is resized through the drum, the number of moulds and the length of the drying oven.
Recycled waste paper, newsprint and cardboard are used. Raw-material quality directly affects tray strength and drying time, so the line is tuned to the paper mix you will actually run.
Once the building and infrastructure are ready, site assembly and commissioning typically take a few weeks. We train your operators and maintenance team on site, under real production conditions.
Yes. We ship turnkey egg tray production lines to export markets, Iraq above all, and our own team travels to site for assembly and commissioning.
We keep critical spare parts in stock and machine special parts on our own CNC equipment. When your request arrives by WhatsApp or e-mail, it is assessed technically the same day.
Tell us your target capacity and the tray type you want to produce, and we will come back to you with a layout, a delivery schedule and pricing.
